Blondie Brownies

This recipe makes 12 brownies


  • 225g / 1 ½ cups Caster Sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 225g/1 cup of butter
  • 175g/1 1/3 cup of plain flour
  • 300g/10 1/2 white chocolate

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Grease and line a 24cm / 9.5 inch square tin.

Step 2

Beat together all the ingredients except the white chocolate in a mixing bowl until pale and fluffy.

Step 3

Add the chopped white chocolate and fold into the mixture.

Step 4

Place the brownie mixture into the square dish and level out with a spatula.

Step 5

Bake for 30 minutes, until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cakes comes out clean.

Step 6

Set the brownies aside to cool and cut into squares.
