Classic Yorkshire Pudding

These golden and crisp puffs of delight are the perfect accompaniment to your Sunday roast dinner. This simple yet iconic recipe makes the perfect Yorkshire Puddings that are both crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.

Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 70g plain flour
  • 150ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper 
  • ½ tsp tarragon
  • Vegetable oil

Method

  1. Add plain flour, eggs, salt, pepper and tarragon to a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Gently drizzle in the milk, stirring continuously. Allow to sit in the fridge until you are ready to pop in the oven.
  3. Preheat a cupcake tray with veg oil and once hot, pour in your batter ¾ of the way to the top.
  4. Allow to cook for 20-25 mins at 210C fan until well-risen and golden brown.
