
Chloe’s Cookies Three Ways


Can’t decide what flavour cookies to go for? You won’t have to with Chloe’s cookie recipe for snickerdoodle, chocolate and sea salt and m&m cookies.
Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
- 250g butter, softened
- 200g light brown soft sugar
- 250g caster sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 450g self-raising flour
- 1tsp salt
- 200g chocolate chips
- Handful of m&ms
- Cinnamon sugar
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/ 150°C fan/ gas mark 4. Whisk the butter and sugars together in a mixing bowl. Once combined, add in the eggs and vanilla.
- Sift in the flour and salt and mix through. Next, separate the cookie dough into 3 equal sized portions in separate bowls. To one of the portions, add in the chocolate chips and a generous pinch of sea salt. To the second portion, add in the M&Ms and finally leave the last bowl as it is.
- Roll the cookie dough from each mixture into walnut size balls. Roll the dough balls from the last plain portion in cinnamon and sugar.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place the cookies in the oven for 10 minutes until just golden around the edges. Take out of the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.
