Chocolate Tiffin

Treat yourself to these decadent chocolate tiffin slices! They're packed with milk and dark chocolate, dried fruit and a crunchy biscuit.

Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 100g almonds
  • 100g sultanas
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 266g dark chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 200g fruit and nut chocolate
  • 170g golden syrup
  • 130g unsalted butter

Method

  1. Line a 9x9” square baking tray with parchment paper and leave this to the side.
  2. Melt the golden syrup and butter together in the microwave on short bursts, making sure you stir it after every 30 seconds.
  3. Once the mixture is fully melted, add your chopped dark and milk chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted into the mixture.
  4. Pour in your chopped digestive biscuits, chopped almonds, sultanas and chopped-up fruit and nut chocolate.
  5. Mix this until it’s all combined and coated well.
  6. Pour the mixture into your prepared tin and press down firmly.
  7. Leave the tin in the fridge to set for around 3-4 hours.
