
Fruity Flapjacks


This sweet baked bar made of rolled oats, butter, sugar and golden syrup is ideal for a quick and easy dessert if you’re short on time.
Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
- 175g unsalted butter
- 125g demerara sugar
- 50g golden syrup
- 300g rolled oats
- 75g sultanas
Method
- Grease a 7inch square tin and line with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 180 °C/fan 160 °C/gas 4.
- Heat up the butter, sugar and syrup in a small pan. Remove from heat and mix in the oats and sultanas until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the square tin and bake in the oven for 30 – 35 minutes or until it’s a light golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool before serving.
